QuantNet网站公布了2018年北美金融工程项目排名，共对美国和加拿大的29个金融工程硕士项目(Financial Engineering, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Finance)进行了排名，巴鲁克学院和加州大学伯克利分校并列第一，CMU和哥大Financial Engineering并列第三，排名第五的是藤校联盟之一的Princeton。
此次排名涵盖金融工程、数理金融、数量金融等29个美国和加拿大的硕士项目，排名主要考察的因素如下：
Peer Assessment Score(同行评分)：20%;
Placement Success(就业率)：55%，综合考察指标包括毕业就业率、毕业后三个月就业率、起始薪资、雇主评分等;
Student selectivity(学生录取难度)：25%，综合考察指标包括GRE分数、本科GPA、项目录取率。
所以整体来看，QuantNet对金融工程硕士的排名标准更偏向于对未来就业的考量。
